Grolsch Premium Lager is more than just a beer; it’s a Dutch icon with a legacy that spans over four centuries. Its distinct bottle design, known as “de beugel” or swingtop, sets it apart with a signature swing-top cap that eliminates the need for an opener—an innovation that’s become synonymous with the brand’s heritage and craftsmanship.

To celebrate Grolsch’s unique identity, I crafted a bold series of large-format out-of-home (OOH) print ads, spotlighting the iconic swing-top design. These ads showcased the elegance and functionality of the bottle, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to quality and tradition. Positioned in key locations, the campaign honored over 400 years of Grolsch’s brewing excellence, inviting consumers to experience a product that combines history, innovation, and unmistakable style in every bottle.

By focusing on the swingtop’s cultural significance, I connected the timeless charm of Grolsch with modern beer lovers, turning the bottle itself into a symbol of celebration and craftsmanship.
